Camp Torenta
Camp Torenta is available for rent
Camp Torenta, which is located on the west side of Lake
Mitchell, is jointly operated by Cadillac Schools and the YMCA. Although much of the summer, it hosts campers and
athletes through the "Y" and Cadillac School programs, there are some summer weekends and most spring and fall days
when the facility is available to rent for $250/day with an additional $100 for overnight. The camp is a popular
site for family reunions, church groups, and business picnics.
Camp Torenta is looking for donated items
Do you have a canoe, paddleboat, rowboat, oars,
paddles, or a kayak that you would like to donate to Camp Torenta? These items should be serviceable, usable, and
presentable. If you have any items to donate, contact the Cadillac YMCA at 775-3369.
Camp Torenta looking for canoes
Camp Torenta, which is jointly operated by the YMCA and the
Cadillac Schools, operates day and weekly camp sessions for youth during the summer. Increasing interest in its
canoeing program has created a demand for canoes. If you have a canoe to sell or donate that is in good condition,
contact the YMCA at 231-775-3369.
